Your Gaming Class

Post by Valvatorez on Fri Jan 25, 2013 9:46 pm

As all of you gamers know, there are classes in video games.
Now, which class are you?

Are you a healer?
A soldier?

Simply say what class you would be. You could use any class, in any game to describe what you are.

Big spoon.

Normally I'm the tank or for a secondary class I'll be the melee damage dealer.

So I'd be a tank, Templar.

I am either a healer or a mage, or both if a certain game has it that way. Rarely am I a tank, since I can't really depend on people.

I'm usually always the magic user of the group. Though I don't play very often. What I do play is d&d. In that I'm either the wizard or rogue.

I used to think I was a warrior/paladin kind of guy, but I like mobility and fast attacks, so I guess I'm more of a rouge. I don't like how... mainstream they are though.

Sorry guys the only game I play here lately is battle field, so to describe myself I'd have to say;

Support, with ammo resupply for the team, C4 to take out walls between the squad and the objective, carrying a PDW so we can stay on the move, and I don't have to mount my weapon on a Bi-pod to be of any help.

And yes, we usually win.

Where is my sword? I must be wielding a sword in my first character of any game.

Then I create all sorts of secondary characters to explore the other classes and see what they are like and what they need. In that way I know how to interact with them better.

I don't play any online games, but if I did I would definitely be the black mage. Spamming magic every few seconds lagging servers sounds like something I would do lol!

It depends on the game formatting, but I'm always assassin class whenever applicable. I focus on critical hit, agility (attack speed or movement speed) and learn skills that paralize or slow the enemy. I'm skilled in the hit-and-run technique.

Usually, when the game doesn't have an assassin class, I make my own (out of the warrior or thief/rouge class) or I simply choose the ranger class and a similar skill/stat set.

i prefer to be in and out before i'm noticed so i guess a rouge or sniper, but i do like being the guy charging about and going berserk half the time and then disappear so some kind of berserking ninja lol i guess half the time i like being a paladin/warrior and the other half a sniper/rogue like class.

MMORPG: Caster a bit more often than a Healer
RTS: Defensive/meek(I allow my opponents to tire themselves out or quit from the games duration) then shock or dirty moves(If any enemies remain after some or none leave) lol. In Teamed RTS games I'll act as minor support and enemy harassment with dirty or shallow moves in the end to finish off my foes, but that often requires that I've allies who are protecting me.
FPS: Sniper or suicide melee.
D&D: Preferably Wizard or Sorcerer with Psion coming in as a something attractive.

im one of those RARE people that purely enjoys being a healer and always willing to help people, also, i am a insane healer, as in, ill do the craziest shit and NGAF, for instance, we used a Pet summoner and 2 clerics (me being one of them) to try to take down one of the hardest bosses in a game

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s80FPUc2bbA

unfortunetly, this was AFTER people found the game mechanic abuse where they could attack at 5att/sec and (wont go into detail why) made them output a crazy ammount of damage. before, this guy would take a good 30min to take down, we deided to take 3hours with just the 3 of us an NO TANK xD

but it was fun, i enjoy being a healer people can count on.

But iv given up my MMO life...sorry

In mmos i am always the mage and warrior dps classes.
I prefer to solo or duo-team dungeons....

In shooters i usually go for the one man army class. (the one getting all the kills.)

But in Planetside 2 the lag combined with my failing mouse aiming skills has pushed me into being a medic.

I play all classes. So, would a Jack of all Trades count as a class? (Master of none! lol)

I tend to try and play at least one of every class, but end up playing either a healer or melee type class. Whether I focus on Defence or Attack... Or Debuff or Healing... Varies on the game

I'm a magic man through and through - capable of shifting between healing and DPS when needed, but let's be honest - healing is all very nice, but inside everyone, there is something that just wants to magically pulverize everybody completely...and I cater to it a lot Smile
