Hellsing Ultimate. There's enough blood in that series to fill the Atlantic.

I was about to lose faith until you said that. Everyone missed it >.>

I gotta say Mirai Nikki, Higurashi, Hellsing, Elfen Lied, HOTD, corpse princess, another, black lagoon, and deadman's wonderland. For what gore/blood they have in each of them. GITS also has some, but it's not the main focus. Still I like it ;D and the rest of them.

It seems to me that the animes i vaguely recall watching in my youth had a lot more gore in them than the ones i watch today... but that's probably down to a blood tinted memory, even tho it really does seem that way some times.

Yeah i don't think School Days counts, even that one scene isn't as gory as people remember it (there's far more suggestion going on than actual blood and gore).

Welcome to the new age where blood and gore is taboo and sex and nudity is normal. Bring back the 80's! OK maybe I'm exaggerating Twisted Evil maybe.....

Are you? I see nude people on TV before the 9pm watershed all the time these days and yet for some reason swear words (even the bland ones) are still getting censored after 11pm?! What kind of messed up world are we living in?

that one is not silly. its bloody right.

code geass has a bloody story. in every plan lelouch executed, there are killings and explosions. not to mention euphy,

evangelion become bloody at the end part. you know that scene at the sea side.

Yeah you right but while you see a lot of blood in Code Geass you never really see it come out of anybody, you know that kind of safety net that keeps it from upsetting people where it's all implied that it is thru shadow play and spray upon faces.

And Eve, yeah that one episode is very gruesome, but it is one episode.
