sounds like something someone would watch AFTER. Maybe it was there for convenience? Razz

I assume the ones you listed aren't hentai right? Well I think 1 time I actually found Black Lagoon on a hentai site. Speaking of which Funimation is REALLY going after all the Black Lagoon dubbed eps. I'm having to jump from site to site sometimes cuss the vid was removed. Good thing I'm nearly finished with the 2nd season. As to the post you posted above, I've seen some of them and many I haven't. I know one of them a friend even recommended to me. (Not sure if I'll like it or not due to what it's got in it) Anyway once you've seen KXS just let me know if any of those that you mentioned are on par with KXS or not. I may look into some of them and see what their about and thanks for posting em.
No problem, don't worry all of them are not hentai, if they were I would have listed a hentai in that list.

I might not see Kiss x Sis in a while though, as I always play Super Smash Bros. Brawl to determine the order of what anime will I see of a select number I choose and I'm gonna see The Familiar of Zero soon

@Natsuru-san: Exactly, i be backing you up there girl!

To say that just because something appears on a Hentai site makes it Hentai is a totally ludicrous notion, sorta like saying everything you read on Wikipiedia are 100% infallible facts!

I've been thinking about giving One Piece a shot to use as my new long term series.
So I was wondering if a fan of the series could recommend whether I should watch it subbed or dubbed.
Also how far along is the dub anyway?

I stopped watching it years back but it's a no brainer that you should watch the sub. 4kids ruined the dub and even though Funi picked it up I don't think they redid the eps that 4kids ruined. Basically from what I've been told by many people the dub had 100's of eps cut out and later on in the story that even left you wondering what was going on. So although I stopped watching long ago and am not a fan given this knowledge I'd say you should watch the sub but I also say wait to hear what a fan has to say too.

The One Piece dub is at 253 episodes and the sub has 590 episodes, the Funimation dub is recommended as it is the uncut one unlike the 4kids dub, but I would recommend the sub as the anime is still going and who knows when will the manga finish

I was actually about to ask about those last night, but forgot. So, what's the order in which one should watch the .hack// series? Tried ANN for reference w/ their prequel/sequel labels, but couldn't get anything definite other than that Liminality should be seen right after Sign... Which really don't help me much at all, lol

It's supposedly really good, but I have yet to start it. I really want to so I would give it a shot if you have the endurance to watch that many episodes.

But you know what they say, great minds think alike, if you ever doubted it that right there is your proof.

Blazer wrote:It's supposedly really good, but I have yet to start it. I really want to so I would give it a shot if you have the endurance to watch that many episodes.
They're really not that many tho, Sign and Roots are 20-something each, and Legend of Twilight, Liminality, and Quantum are 3-4 each (OVAs). This is what I'm aware has been dubbed so far. So like 50-60 in total, and they change characters and setting too. As comparison, what's that silly Naruto mess up to now, like 500-600 episodes? lol

After reading on wikipedie, it seems they go like this: Sign -> Liminality (a spinoff) -> Legend of Twilight (another spinoff, last one set in The World) -> Roots (set in The World R2, 7 years after events in Sign) -> Quantum (set even later in the timeline, in The World R:X).

But of course it is great. Guess who the composer is. Yup, it's Yuki again. The lady sure keeps busy, but you won't hear me complain!

I've started watching 4 or 5 anime and I need to know something before I can watch one of them. I'm posting this here and in another thread to hopefully get an answer sooner rather than later so here is what I need to know.

A Certain Scientific Railgun and A Certain Magical Index, which comes first? Also I see there's a bunch of spin-offs etc. for both series so if someone who knows in what order to watch all of the ones listed on this MAL page along with the following pages the links take you to (The whole series basically) and can tell me then thank you very much. I'd like to watch this series ASAP but need to know which order to watch them in and which comes first. http://myanimelist.net/anime/6213/Toaru_Kagaku_no_Railgun

Thanks. You and Tiger said the same thing though I have to ask, the order you gave is by how the story goes right? If not then please explain. Also would S2 of Railgun come after watching Index S2? Lastly you wouldn't happen to know what order to watch the spin-offs and anything else I might be forgetting would you?

well the story is not really that connected. touma and misaka have their own missions to do. about the spin offs, yes i have no idea on what order they should be watched as i havent watched them myself. well due to time release, yes s2 of railgun should be watched after s2 of index. havent watched the s2 of railgun also as i tend to watch anime in marathon (i watch on going series due to the new release club).

I think Railgun is just from Misaka's perspective. I don't think there related that much, just that they use the same characters.

It does depend upon some revelations from Series 1 of Index but other than that it is a purely separate story from Misaka's perspective as Lunar says.

You'll probably never get this recommendation otherwise, so watch Freedom. Then when you're done with it go for Read Or Die (OVA comes first, the full-blown anime is its continuation). Then Viper's Creed (especially since you seem to have liked Blassreiter and Rideback). All have quite unique settings, and I found them very interesting and enjoyable. Really tho you got so much good stuff listed there, it's hard to pick just a few.

Random question, why did you drop Chrono Crusade? At only the 2nd episode you're not quite into the main story just yet. I highly suggest that you give it another try, there is a whole lot more to it than what you're presented with in the first few episodes.
